Wild Africa Sunset Safari
We invite you to join our Wild Africa Sunset Safari, exclusive to guests of Safari Lodge and included in your stay.
Departing 2 hours before sunset, you’ll traverse through the savannah in an open-sided Safari Landcruiser allowing for the best views of Wild Africa’s animals. This small group guided tour offers the opportunity to explore the plains after-hours and includes light refreshments.

Conditions Please advise of any mobility assistance needs or requirements when booking. This tour operates 365 days/year, including Christmas and other public holidays. In the event of extreme weather, Monarto Safari Park reserves the right to not operate the tour for guest safety and comfort.
Multi-Day Park General Admission
Take your time at Monarto Safari Park with a General Admission Pass, included in your stay. Explore the expansive 1,500 hectare Park via the guided Zu-Loop bus or hit the walking track to explore by foot.
Monarto Safari Park is the largest open-range safari experience in the world outside of Africa and features over 50 animal species, free Keeper Talks, and one-of-a-kind experiences.
Opening hours 9:00am – 5:00pm.
Please note the last Zu-Loop bus runs at 3:00pm.
Open 365 days a year, including Christmas and all public holidays
Conditions Should a catastrophic fire ban be declared, Monarto Safari Park will be closed to all visitors.

The Wild Africa Sunset Safari and the multi-day General Admission Pass are included in your stay. If you would like to add the Monarto Safari Park Private Safari after you have already booked, please contact our Reservations team on 1800 016 761. This experience is an additional cost.
Yes! Your transport for a Wild Africa Safari is a small, 9-seater Safari Landcruiser that is open-sided, allowing for a very immersive experience. Those on the Sunset Wildlife Safari are taken through Wild Africa in a Safari Truck, which can seat around 26 guests.
The Wild Africa Safari will also take you to a separate Sundowner location within Wild Africa for more intimate refreshments.
Yes, our experiences are exclusive to those who are staying at the Lodge. Your multi-day pass to Monarto Safari Park is only valid during your stay.
If you would like to hop aboard the private safari through Monarto Safari Park that is included in the Ultimate Safari Escape, please reach out to our Reservations team on 1800 016 761 prior to your stay or we can organise this for you upon check-in. This experience is an additional cost.
The Safari Landcruisers are not accessible for those that use a wheelchair, however we can absolutely cater to these guests with the Safari Trucks instead. Please let us know when booking if you have mobility needs or requirements.
